The annual Faith & Friendship Luncheon is a fundraiser for retreat scholarships and reaching out efforts. For those who journey through the retreat season it's a celebration of growth and for those new to the ministry it's a chance to hear the highlights of the retreat season and get a little taste of what we do.

Our next luncheon will be April 15, 2018. If you'd like to receive an invitation in the mail, please email Christine Jurisich with your home address. We'd love to have you!

Thank you to our 2017 raffle sponsors.

Reaching Out & Touching Lives Fund

The Faith & Friendship Luncheon is a fundraiser for our Reaching Out & Touching Lives Fund. In this busy, loud, and sometimes confusing world, there has to be a welcoming and loving place for women to pause, take a breath, and find support, inspiration, and practical tools on how to grow closer to God's love. Often women don't feel comfortable spending money on themselves and think a retreat is self-indulgent or a luxury item. This has to stop! We need to reach out to these women and provide a loving hand to help support and encourage.  We especially want to offer this to women who are in the middle of a stressful situation and feel they need a retreat but can't afford one. Please help us empower women who need a welcoming and loving place of spiritual support and inspiration. Please consider donating $10, $25, or more.

Listen to what past retreat scholarship recipients have to say...

I had a rough patch in my life this year, both financially and spiritually. I really needed to go on a retreat but couldn’t afford to sign up. I was offered a scholarship but I really struggled with my pride before I was able to accept help. It is always easier to give than to receive. I remembered something a priest once told me that there are times in our lives when we have to allow others the experience of the gift of giving and not deny them that privilege. I feel when we receive a gift from others, then one day we can pay it forward for someone else who is in need.

I would like to thank those who made a scholarship possible. I was just retiring and financially unsteady. The retreat was awe-inspiring and just what was needed as I begin this new phase of life.

After 25 years of marriage my husband left me and I was in a very bad place. I knew I needed to go on a retreat but I didn’t feel like I should be spending money on myself. A friend convinced me to ask for a scholarship and I’m so glad I did. It was so hard to ask - I’ve never had to ask before - but the retreat gave me the peace and hope that I desperately needed and I’m so thankful.
