Carve out special time to reflect on how to open your heart to a God of mercy. Your story will be held in a sacred space as you explore your faith story and the varying experiences of God throughout your life.

This retreat was created for those who are:

  • Yearning for a closer relationship with God yet are unsure how to connect and what that means.

  • Seeking to know God in the silence and mystery.

  • Looking for a safe place to explore different images of God and how those have been formed throughout your life experiences.

  • Longing for time set aside when you can bask in God’s mercy and love.

What to Expect

 

  • A balanced pace of listening, personal reflection time, and sharing (if you choose to share). Our pacing is what people comment they like most about our retreats. See Sample Agenda.

  • Time to reflect on your experience and images of God, your faith story, and the richness behind the invitation to God’s mercy found in the Hebrew Bible.

  • The invitation to meditate with art.

  • A sacred sharing environment of respect, non-judgment, and holy listening.

Where: Mercy Center Burlingame, CA

When: Friday, June 21, - Sunday, June 23, 2024

Cost for Overnight: $425 (Includes six meals, two nights in private room)

Cost for Commuter: $275 (Includes four meals)

Deadline to register: May 26, 2024. A limited number of scholarships are available.

Payment Options: You may pay for the whole retreat all at once, or make three separate payments with the final payment due May 20, 2024.

For Your Planning

 

  • Friday registration is from 3-5:00. We will gather at 5:00 for facilitaty orientation with dinner being served at 5:30. We will begin introductions and opening prayer at 6:15. See Sample Agenda

  • The retreat will end Sunday at 11:00. For those who wish to participate there will be an 11:15 mass followed by lunch 12-1PM.

  • Mercy Center Burlingame is a ten-minute drive from San Francisco International airport.
