In recent years, I have noticed a yearning for a deeper, more authentic relationship with God. As I walked into this desire, I sensed I would need to be open to receiving God “just the way God is.” And I found myself faced with God wanting to love me “just the way I am.”

The Scriptures poetically describe Jesus as a light which shined into the darkness two thousand years ago. He was a light that lived among us, yet one that few noticed and even fewer recognized.

Mary’s yes, at the intersection of heaven and earth, is not just a moment in time; it transcends time and empowers the future, a future of which we are a part. “The one thing she did and does is the one thing we all have to do, to bear Christ into the world,”

Spending time getting to know your sacred self is not a call to self-absorption amidst a suffering world. It is quite the opposite.

When you join us for a Sacred Circle or retreat, you will be asked to take a group sharing pledge to ensure a sacred environment. We ask participants to keep confidentiality, to refrain from judgment and advice-giving, and we ask that people keep their political views to themselves. Why is that? 

Celebrations are not only for special occasions.  The Spirit laughs with us as we learn to celebrate joy in all creation and life

God is the great artist who creates all that is beautiful. How do I forget to notice? God is the energy behind, beneath, in, and through all forms of beauty. Expressing in every color, scent, and sound.
