Courage for the Call
What can I expect from this online retreat?
This online retreat is created to be flexible and meaningful for the person who wants to take this as a self-paced, private experience and for the person who wants to share the material for a special communal time.
The retreat opens on February 13, 2026 and is formatted as a six-week experience. A facilitator trained in spiritual direction will guide the written and virtual sharing for six weeks.
You have access to the material for one year so if you do not want the communal experience you can start whenever you choose and take it at the pace that works for you.
-
· Weekly Emails: Starting February 13, 2026, and every Friday for six weeks, you will receive guided reflections and spiritual practices.
· Self-Paced: Reflect, journal, and share in the written format at your own pace throughout the week.
· Ongoing Access: You will have full access to the materials for one year. Revisit and reflect at your convenience.
· Optional Sharing in Community: Share in written form at any time during the week. Join fellow retreat participants every Thursday and Sunday on Zoom for shared reflection and connection.
-
Creating a safe place to share is our highest priority. We work hard to provide:
A Confidential and Private Space to Share: Whether you share during the six weeks or several months later, we uphold strict confidentiality agreements. Your comments stay safe within the private retreat platform that cannot be accessed by people who are not registered.
· A Non-Judgmental Environment: Our sharing pledge (which does not allow political comments) guides the written and live portions.
· Supportive Facilitation: Our facilitators are required to be trained in spiritual direction to ensure a focus on listening rather than imposing advice.
-
You choose:
· At Your Convenience: Participate at a pace that works best for you. The material is available for one year.
· Six-Week Pace: Typically, 30–60 minutes per week. You can pause if life gets hectic and start back up at any time.

What People are Saying…
About the Gift of Growth and Community
Retreat, Reflect, Renew is special to me personally because I needed a spiritual family, as I am not connected to a church right now. It became a home where I felt comfortable and accepted and a place to grow my faith and practice my spirituality in a supportive and non-judgmental place. — Maureen G., CA
I developed trust in the retreat leader and the community, enough to take the risk of sharing my voice and developing more confidence in what I hear within me. I appreciated Christine’s voice in the retreat saying it's ok not to be perfect, it's ok if you’re scared to try silence. Her writing made me feel like she was “taking my hand.” And with that support, I walked into the depth of myself, of prayer, and of community.— Karen B., CA
I have learned so much from you and from your thoughtful retreats. My relationship with Christ has changed, and I think that has contributed a lot to my ability to carry my cross. My prayer life is more intimate. My conversations with Jesus are more authentic. I feel less alone. I have learned to allow joy and sadness, hope and fear, peace and panic to co-exist in my life. I have given myself permission to not have life all figured out, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me with this. — Debbie B., CT
