What is this Retreat About?

Sometimes life shifts in ways you might never have expected. Whether you find yourself wrestling with a difficult diagnosis, standing at a crossroads, or simply wondering where God is leading, you need more than a burst of optimism. You long for a courage born of trust, rooted deep in your faith, and fueled by the promise of hope.

Instead of the “bold movie-hero” image, discover a more authentic courage to sustain you through whatever you are facing at the doctor’s office, in the stressful conversations, or when you are ready to step into something new. In this retreat, we will redefine courage as the sacred meeting place of fear and trust.

Together We Will . . .

  • Learn how to discern between toxic worries and healthy concerns

  • Reflect on letting go of what holds you back from trusting God

  • Connect deeper with Psalm 46:10 (“Be still, and know that I am God”) as a guiding strength

    Have You Wondered . . .

  • How can I truly surrender to God?

  • Am I capable of courageous living?

  • Is it too late to find a fresh purpose in my life?

  • Can hope emerge after loss or deep disappointment?

This retreat is designed to show you how you are more courageous than you realize. You do not have to pretend to be more or less than who you already are. As you nurture your faith from within, you can begin to experience the Divine strength that has been with you all along. That is a reason for hope.

Is this Retreat for You?

  • You are seeking courage for a major decision or life transition.

  • You struggle with the word “surrender” and what it means to trust.

  • You long for meaningful purpose in this season of life.

  • You yearn to center yourself with your faith amidst global suffering and unrest.

Whether you stand at a threshold of hope or loss, our intent with this retreat is to offer a welcoming and non-judgmental space to reflect on the Divine strength within you so you can awaken to renewed hope. We invite you to rest and experience the retreat in a way that is nurturing and honors where you are on your journey.

What People are Saying…

About the Gift of Growth and Community

Retreat, Reflect, Renew is special to me personally because I needed a spiritual family, as I am not connected to a church right now. It became a home where I felt comfortable and accepted and a place to grow my faith and practice my spirituality in a supportive and non-judgmental place. — Maureen G., CA

I developed trust in the retreat leader and the community, enough to take the risk of sharing my voice and developing more confidence in what I hear within me. I appreciated Christine’s voice in the retreat saying it's ok not to be perfect, it's ok if you’re scared to try silence. Her writing made me feel like she was “taking my hand.” And with that support, I walked into the depth of myself, of prayer, and of community.— Karen B., CA

I have learned so much from you and from your thoughtful retreats. My relationship with Christ has changed, and I think that has contributed a lot to my ability to carry my cross. My prayer life is more intimate. My conversations with Jesus are more authentic. I feel less alone. I have learned to allow joy and sadness, hope and fear, peace and panic to co-exist in my life. I have given myself permission to not have life all figured out, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me with this. — Debbie B., CT
