Four-Week Online Retreat

Your Balance, Your Peace

Your Divine Rhythm

"Love God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind and love your neighbor as yourself." This is our inspiration for a balanced life. Not a perfect balance, not the balance you see on TV or the movies, nor the balance someone else has. This is about connecting with your Divine rhythm.

There is a reason we feel out of sorts when our lives get out of balance. A Divine rhythm is sewn into our very being. This Divine pacing has its roots in the Creation story, where we are inspired to live a life of work and rest; prayer and action; solitude and community. The challenge is often staying true to your Divine rhythm while living in a loud and complicated world.

This retreat will invite you to reflect on the pacing of your life, setting boundaries, and find ways to set an intentional pacing to your day, week, and year that opens yourself up to God’s grace.

A four-week online retreat is a safe way to reflect on your spiritual growth journey on your own time. Receive three emails a week with thought-provoking reflections and videos.

Choose Your Experience

You choose how you want to experience this retreat.

Privately. You receive three emails a week but you can journey through privately at your own pace and schedule. The retreat stays open for eight weeks after the last day.

Share anonymously. You can participate in the online sharing from the comfort of your home. The sharing is in written form and simliar to a blog format. The discussion is led by spiritual directors to lovingly accompany your journey and ensure a respectful, warm, and non-judgmental environment.

Share live on Zoom. Every Friday we will have a sharing session on Zoom from 9AM-10AM (PDT). Led by the author Christine Jurisich and faciltator Darlene Carlson, the session gives you the opportunity to pray and share the week's content with others taking the retreat. The live sharing time will not contain any new content for those who do not want to participate and you can attend any or all of the sessions.

Your Balance, Your Peace

Connect with the Divine Rhythm of Your Life

October 4 - 29, 2021

Cost: $45

I had never participated in a retreat before, so I thought an online retreat would be a good way to start a personal spiritual journey in a very non-threatening way. I loved it as it has opened my heart to new beginnings of courage and trust in God’s strength for me.

Christine Jurisich

Retreat Author

Hello and welcome. I've been in retreat ministry for the past fifteen years. Before that I was a TV reporter and anchor for ten years. I love these online retreats because they combine my education and experience in reporting, researching, and writing with my love for empowering people to embrace their spiritual journey. When I write, I picture writing to a friend, gently encouraging them, and saying, “I hear you. Let’s walk through this together.” I look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Darlene Carlson

Retreat Facilitator

Hello. My role as a facilitator is to walk the journey alongside you, offering affirmation and encouragement along the way. I've led numerous faith sharing and prayer groups for the past twelve years and have over 22 years experience both as a catechist and elementary school teacher. I'm currently in formation to be a spiritual director with The Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. I love the spiritual connections created across all Christian faiths. We meet each other right where we are and gently encourage one another to go deeper.
