Retirement is not the end. It is the beginning.
Are you newly retired, thinking of retiring or looking back on where retirement has taken you thus far? Are you wondering what this new season means for you?
The inner landscape of the retirement experience unearths invitations to heal, grow in authenticity, and deepen our relationship with the Holy. Yet few, if any, opportunities offer us prayer and support as we travel this new and expanding terrain.
Recognizing God’s dream for you.
Author Angeles Arrien says, “This time (of retirement) offers the wisdom gifts of curiosity, flexibility and self-cceptance, and the choice to be fully alive, a courageous explorer willing to disturb the comfort of familiar roles to discover the true face that lies beneath.”
Allow this time of transition to be Spirit’s invitation to wholeness. This retreat intends to provide sacred time and space for you to begin the journey of unearthing a new beginning that the gift of retirement can bring.
Come together, in prayer and in community as we explore:
Acceptance: Your journey starts right where you are.
Letting Go: Allow yourself time to release the past.
Authentic Self: Grow into your true self and let God love you.
God’s Dream for You: Listen for God in your deepest desires.

I loved the fresh insights into retirement life; particularly the idea that these upcoming years may hold a different, sacred call for me than my previous years. It was an opportunity to go inward, guided by thoughtful questions and begin to explore what more God has for me moving forward.
