9:15 - 9:45 The Science and Soul of the Breath

Anne Kertz Kernion

“Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.” ~Etty Hillesum

As we emerge from a very difficult year, it's helpful to explore how the breath helps us live in the here and now, aware of God's abiding presence. Breathing practices also lessen stress, increase focus and concentration, and improve our overall well-being. We will experience a variety of breath-prayer practices along the way, bringing calm to our days while nurturing our brains, bodies, and souls. Join us for a workshop that will boost your spirit and your health!
