Dr. Tameka Jackson is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Sacramento, CA. She is a servant of God whose heart is devoted to creating spaces of sanctuary where people can rest, breathe, and hear the song God has placed within them. For more than 20 years, she has journeyed with adults and couples through life’s challenges, guiding them back home to themselves and into deeper alignment with their Divine gifts and purpose.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Rutgers University, a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from George Washington University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University. Beyond her private practice, Tameka serves as Director of Community Involvement for Holding Space, a nonprofit dedicated to healing racial trauma through holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally affirming care. She is also the founder of C.O.R.E Love, a faith-inspired wellness program committed to helping Black women cultivate radical self-love and expand their capacity for compassion.

A certified facilitator in SoulCollage®, Morning Altars, Journal to the Self®, and the Seven Homecomings meditation practice, Tameka blends creativity, faith, and heart-centered practices to support healing and transformation. At her core, she is passionate about holding sacred space for others to gather in community and behold the light of God that lives within each one of us.

She loves spending time in nature, listening to music, practicing gratitude, and treasures her life as a wife to her wonderful husband and mother to her beloved daughter.
